Woman Alone
At Blue Star Taxis we care about the safety of our customers, especially women traveling alone.
Our Woman Alone service ensures that passengers are not only collected safely but also walked to their front door. Our driver doesn’t depart until they are home safe and sound.
This is a free service and may be obtained by asking the driver or requesting a Woman Alone service at the time the booking is made.
Christchurch Airport Taxi Service
Blue Star Taxis operate a Meet & Greet Service at Christchurch Airport to shuttle you home. This service is available, at no extra charge, for Domestic flights. As well as the Meet & Greet service, Blue Star Taxis have a high representation on both the Domestic and International Taxi Ranks.
Companion Service
This is service many Blue Star drivers offer their customers. Instead of charging by the meter the cost is times based. The driver can accompany the passenger or just wait for them to finish what they are doing.

All Companion Service Providers are qualified First Aiders and specifically trained to look after clients. Available at ONLY $1.40 per minute or $84.00 per hour (minimum hire 30 minutes).
Dial A Driver
Drink driving is a major issue for New Zealanders, but Blue Star Taxis have the solution with our ‘dial a driver’ service. If you’re staff are at a function and have had a few drinks too many but don’t want to leave a vehicle behind, Blue Star Taxis have a Dial-A-Driver service available. This is a great idea for a boys or girls night out that turns into a big one and you want to get you and your vehicle home safely.
